Walking the Bible Airs on PBS Tomorrow (Wed.)

Feel like taking a trip to the Holy Land? Don't have an extra few thousand dollars laying around? No problem. Starting tomorrow night, you can visit the Holy Land from the comfort of your own living room without spending a dime.

Walking the Bible is a three-part primetime mini-series airing on PBS January 4, 11, and 18th. I've been helping to promote the project, so I've had the chance to pre-screen episodes one and two. And I can tell you that they were FABULOUS. Really. Not just because I'm paid to say that.

The series takes viewers to five countries, through four war zones, on three continents. Ever wonder what the Garden of Eden really looked like? Ever thought "maybe the pillar that Lot's wife became is still around"? Ever wondered what it was like for Hagar to head out into the desert with Ishmael? Well author Bruce Feiler did. He did more than wonder... he retraced the first five books of the Bible so he could see for himself. Now we can come along for the ride.

Trust me, it is a trip worth taking.
