Apparently, the Judge in the Tom Delay trial is a past contributor to MoveOn.org, the world's biggest anti-conservative group (with the possible exception of the ACLU). Judge Bob Perkins "defended" himself by saying that he only gave to support the Kerry campaign.
Delay's attorney Dick DeGuerin then pointed out that the judge that MoveOn.org is an organization that is now selling tee-shirts with Delay's mug shots. The judge said he don't know nothing about no stinkin' tee-shirts (okay, I'm paraphrasing). MoveOn said they've never sold the tee-shirts so nanny-nanny-boo-boo (again, paraphrasing).
This is all just bizarre. If the judge gave money to MoveOn.org, it definitely shakes my confidence in his ability to ensure a fair trial for one of MoveOn's most hated Republicans (and that says a lot, my friend). I will be watching closely how this all plays out.
